Professor Williston will not be back to take his courses at the Law School this year and Professor Williams will take his place in "Bills of Exchange" and "Promissory Notes," while Professor Ames will take charge of the course in "Contracts." The course in "Suretyship which was to have been under Professor Ames has been given to Charles B. Barnes, A. B., '90, L. L. D., '93. Professor Beale will have the course in Civil Procedure. For 1897-98 "carriers," under Professor Beale will be given as a one hour course.

The examination for advanced standing will be held in the north lecture room on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
