LINCOLN SERVICE.

Memorial Service at Prayer this Morning.- An Address by President Eliot.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Public recognition of President Lincoln's birthday will be made today for the first time at Harvard. As the plan was formed but a short time ago, there has been no time to prepare an elaborate celebration, but the morning service at Appleton Chapel will be devoted to his memory.

The Rev. George Harris, D. D., of Andover, who is now conducting morning prayers will officiate at the service, which will be the same as usual except that there will be a short address by President Eliot. The choir will sing "To Thee O Country," by Julius Eichberg.
