At the last meeting of the Faculty, it was voted to a low a new English requirement to schools which wish to offer it. The regular entrance requirements will be allowed to remain, but in addition, an examination will be held on work equivalent to that done in English A, which may cover the whole school course. By passing this examination a student will be exempted from the prescription of English A, and will have an almost, if not entirely, free choice in the selection of his College course.
