Lacrosse Notice.

By J. W. Sever.

All men who are not engaged in other branches of athletics are urged to come out for the lacrosse team. Beginning today, practice will be held every afternoon at 4 o'clock on Holmes Field. There will be no Saturday practice except for those men who need special coaching in stick-work. The squad will be divided into four sections under the charge of the class captains. At the end of the fall practice several games will be played by picked teams, if possible, to give the men some idea how every one of the positions should be played. Sticks and balls for practice during the winter will be furnished to the more promising candidates. The class games will be held in the spring and the best men from the class teams will be taken to the University squad after the series is completed.
