GROTON, MASS., Noor 7, 1900:--St. Mark's School defeated Groton this afternoon by the score of 16 to 0. St. Mark's on played Groton from the beginning and their goal was in danger only once. Their plays through tackle and around the ends were almost always sure gains. In the first half St. Mark's scored on two place kicks, the first from the 20 yard line as the result of a foul tackle by Groton, and the second, after the ball had been rushed to Groton's ten yard line. In the second half Hinkle of St. Mark's made a 35 yard run for a touchdown after breaking through left tackle.
