The Crews at New London.

HARVARD QUARTERS, RED TOP, NEW LONDON, June 19.--The University crew took their usual morning row today and were not interrupted by examinations as they have hitherto been. All the men are in good condition. The University paddled over the four mile course late in the afternoon under favorable conditions and put much more life into their work.

The Freshmen rowed in the same order as yesterday and were sent over the two-mile course for their first hard row since coming to New London. The University and Freshman four-oar crews were sent over the course for the first time together. The Freshmen were given two lengths at the start and finished a length ahead of the University four-oar. Shortly before dark the Yale university crew passed Red Top, going over a mile course in fine form. If the cool, pleasant weather only continues great improvement may be expected in the work of all the crews.
