In the four class debating clubs the final debates for the first half year will be held this week and next. The Senior Senate will close its work for the first half-year by a debate tonight in Harvard 6 on the following question, "Resolved, That the present war revenue should be abolished." The first meeting of the Senate in the second half-year will be called Feb. 12, when there will be an election of officers.

The Junior Wranglers will hold the last debate for the first half-year Jan. 15.

At the next meeting of the Sophomore Club tomorrow night the competition for the three cups, offered for the best speakers during the year, will begin. The last meeting of the club for the first half-year will be held Jan. 16. The Freshmen will hold their last debate for the first half-year Jan. 14.
