The Interclass Debating Committee has arranged the following dates for the interclass debates: Senior-Junior Debate, Monday, November 25; Sophomore-Freshman Debate, Tuesday, November 26; Class Championship and Pasteur Medal Debate, Monday, December 16.

The Sophomores have submitted the following question for the debate with the Freshmen: "Resolved, That a system of compulsory arbitration of strikes should be adopted in the United States." The Freshmen have the choice of sides.

The trials for the interclass debates will be held next week as follows, at places to be announced later: Seniors, on Tuesday; Juniors, on Wednesday; Sophomores on Tuesday and Thursday; Freshmen on Monday and Wednesday.

The class championship debates will be held between the two classes whose teams win in the first interclass debates. The two teams are chosen anew, the places on them being open to competition by all members of the respective classes. In this debate the French Department awards to the best debater the Pasteur Medal, established several years ago by Baron Pierre de Coubertin, and won in former years by R. C. Bruce '02, P. E. Fitzpatrick '02 and P. H. Ely '01.

The debates of the several class clubs with outside teams will be held on or about January 21, 1902.
