The final interclass debate between the Juniors and Sophomores, for the class championship and the Pasteur medal, will be held in the Fogg Lecture Room on Thursday, December 19, at 8 o'clock. The members of the winning team in this debate will receive Surbridge debating cups, and the most successful individual speaker will receive the Pasteur medal.
The following question has been chosen: "Resolved, That the present system of parliamentary government in France is better suited to insure the political welfare of the French people than a presidential system such as exists in the United States."
Both the Junior and Sophomore clubs will hold trials, open to their whole classes, to select speakers for this debate. The first trials of both classes will be held on Wednesday at 7 o'clock; and the second trials at 7 o'clock on Friday. The places of the trials will be announced in tomorrow's CRIMSON.
