Exeter won the sixteenth annual New England interscholastic track meet on Soldiers Field yesterday with a total of 38 points. The scores of the other schools were as follows: Andover, 23; Worcester Academy, 13 1-2; Hopkinson, 10 1-2; Roxbury Latin, 6; Needham High, 5; English High, 5; Concord High, 5.

The best individual score was made by F. B. Scheuber of Hopkinson with a total of 10 1-2 points; W. A. Shick of Andover was a close second with first places in the 100 and 220 yards dashes. Exeter had the best all-around team, and got places in every event except the broad jump.

The events were well contested through-out, and new records were made in the broad jump, the 220 yards hurdles, and the hammer throw. The records were equalled in the shot put, and the 220 yards dash. Shick would undoubtedly have lowered the record in the 100 yards dash, but owing to a mistake in measuring the distance he was forced to run 125 yards in the trial heat, and 105 yards in the final.
