Cornel West, Harvard Affiliates Call for University to Divest from ‘Israeli Apartheid’ at Rally
To the Editors of the Crimson:
This year, for the first time, an instructor has been engaged to give regular lessons to the fencing squad. All men who wish to try for the team have the privilege of taking this instruction. As the expense is borne by the Athletic Association in order to encourage fencing and to promote the formation of a creditable team, it is important that all who are interested should join the class immediately; otherwise nothing may be done another year to assist the team in its development.
Before last year Harvard had won six out of the seven intercollegiate matches that had been held. Last year our team finished last. There are plenty of good men--whether they have fenced before or not--who have not yet responded to the calls. They are urged to come out and assist in making a strong team. THORNTON D. ROBERTS.
