The Fencing Team.

About forty men were present at a meeting of the candidates for the fencing team in the Trophy Room last night. All men trying for the team will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 in the Gymnasium, and will be coached for the present by C. D. Burchenal 1L. and T. D. Roberts '03. Later in the year a class of the more experienced men will be organized under Professor Rondel. There will be systematic training for the team as soon as the squad is cut down. This will be especially necessary this year, as the team will probably enter a match with Yale as well as the New York tournament.

Among the experienced men now available are M. G. Buchanan 2L., T. D. Roberts '03, C. D. Burchenal 1L., R. M. Henderson '02, H. H. Holmes '03, L. E. More '03.
