NEW HAVEN, Conn., October 16, Yale defeated the University of Verment team at New Haven this afternoon by a score of 32 to 0. The game was very one-sided from the start, and Yale scored 22 points in the first half. A number of substitutes were put in in the second half and the work was slow and lifeless. The kicking showed a decided improvement over former games.
