Team B defeated team A yesterday in the second game of the fall baseball series by a score of 10 to 8. Team D won from team C in the first game on Monday by the same score.
The game yesterday was almost a repetition of Monday's game with weak batting and poor fielding. Team B obtained a good lead in the first four innings but was forced to play its hardest to prevent A from winning. A lost the game by slow base running and failure to bunch hits, supplemented by costly errors when B had men on bases. The score by innings was as follows: Batteries -- Mahan and Wead; Wales, Hammond and F. Cunningham. Teams B and D will play two out of three games to decide the series, and the winning team receives the cups which have been offered.
