The total enrolment for the twenty-fourth academic year of Radcliffe is 406. 125 new students have been admitted, and it is likely that a considerable number of graduate and special students will enter later in the year. In the June examinations 28 applicants were admitted to the Freshman class, 44 of whom passed without conditions; 10 more passed the requirements in September. The number of candidates for the preliminaries was 146, more than in any previous year except 1898.
Professor H. S. White, Buck, Haskins and Burton, DL. Mixter, Holt and Perry, and Messrs. Yerkes, Gay, Meyer and Baxter are the instructors from Harvard who are teaching at Radcliffe this year for the first time.
