The Freshman practice yesterday showed no new developments in the routine of work or the progress of the squad. After the preliminary work of falling on the ball, the men were divided into four teams for signal practice. The practice showed spirit, but the men were not sure of their signals and fumbled frequently.
In the first line-up team A was able to score practically at will against the second team of squad B, although the plays were started slowly. In the line-up between the second team of squad A and team B the playing was exceedingly loose and erratic. No one seemed to have much idea of playing low or following the ball. The lack of team play was due largely to confusion of signals.
