Observatory Watch for Leonids.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A watch will be kept at the Observatory tonight and the succeeding nights of the week for the shower of Leonids which is expected to occur within a few days. The photographic apparatus is adjusted by electricity so that the cameras are continuously exposed to the same portion of the sky. Several other instruments for determining the velocity and angular projection of the meteors have been mounted and are ready to be operated at any moment. It is thought that tomorrow night will be the time for the appearance of the meteors this year, although no definite forecast can be made.
