Award of Academic Distinctions

The annual meeting for the award of academic distinctions for the past year will be held in Sanders Theatre on Wednesday evening, December 10, at 8 o'clock. Dean Hurlbut will preside and make a brief statement of the purposes of the meeting. Hon. John D. Long '57, ex-Secretary of the Navy, will deliver the principal address of the evening. The floor and a portion of the first balcony will be reserved for the invited guests. Admission will be confined to members of the University until 7.55 o'clock, when the doors will be thrown open to the public.

Deturs will be awarded to the eight highest stand men in each class, and announcement will be made of the winners of the scholarships and prizes awarded by competition since the meeting for the award of distinctions last December.
