Rev. Dr. George Angier Gordon '81 has accepted the invitation to preach the Baccalaureate Sermon this year.
Dr. Gordon entered Harvard after graduating from the Bangor Theological Seminary in 1877. The doctor's degree has been conferred upon him by Bowdoin (1893), Yale (1893) and Harvard (1895). His connection with the University has always been close; he has served upon the Board of Preachers and is now a member of the Board of Overseers. As a preacher he has won his wide reputation by his work as pastor of the Old South Church of Boston.
