BASKETBALL WITH YALE.

The basketball team will leave at 1 o'clock this afternoon on its trip to New Haven and Princeton. The game with Yale will be played tonight and that with Princeton on Saturday. The Yale and Princeton teams are in good condition and both of them will have the advantage of playing on their home floors.

The Yale team is composed of good individual players and plays a fast game, especially on the offensive. Yale's rank in the Intercollegiate League is considerably above Harvard, having won every game played this season. Harvard has been seriously weakened by the loss of Captain Gilles, who was recently hurt in the game with Brown, and of Clark, who will be unable to play. The development of the team has been unusually slow this year. There have been no games for some time, because of the mid-years, so the team is not as good as it should be. The passing and general defensive work is good, but the team is weak on the offensive and at goal throwing. Mr. Velt of Trinity will umpire.
