The Freshman hockey team was defeated by Pomfret School at Pomfret Saturday afternoon by a score of 1 to 0. The game was very close and would probably have been won by the Freshmen, but for the inability of several of their regular players to take part. Pomfret's winning score was made on a lucky pass from a scrimmage just before the end of the first half. The line-up of the Freshman team was as follows: Adams, Egan, Kernan, Prentice, forwards; Aertsen, coverpoint; Wheeler, point; Kendall, goal.
