HOCKEY WITH PRINCETON.

A Very Important Game in New York Tonight.

The University hockey team will play Princeton tonight at the St. Nicholas rink, New York. As Harvard and Princeton are now tied for second place in the intercollegiate league, this game will decide which team will meet Yale in the final series of three games for the championship.

Owing to the lack of ice, the University team has had scarcely any outdoor practice for several weeks and has consequently had little chance to improve; but as Princeton has had the same weather conditions which have prevailed here, the two teams should be on a practically equal basis. Princeton is very accurate in goal shooting and throughout the season has shown good team-play. Princeton and Harvard have both won from Columbia and Brown and been defeated by Yale. Considering the scores, however, Harvard would seem to have a slight advantage.

The line-up will be: HARVARD.  PRINCETON. Pruyn, f.  f., Ogden. Winsor, f.  f., Purnell. Foster, f.  f., Leake. Rumsey, f.  f., McAlpin. Penhallow, c.p.  c.p., McClave. Carr, p.  p., Sheffield. Manning, g.  g., Brown.
