The opening of the Stillman Infirmary, which was expected to take place soon after the recess, will probably not be held this spring. The reason is that since the opening has been delayed so long on account of defects in the floorings, those in charge do not think it worth while to open the building for so short a time as the rest of the College year. There are now no cases of disease in the University to be taken to the Infirmary. Should any cases of typhoid fever, pneumonia or appendicitis develop, however, the building could be opened temporarily at short notice, for all the furniture and equipment is now ready for use.
There will probably be a formal opening of the Infirmary during Commencement week, when Mr. James Stillman, who presented the building, can be present.
