Today's meeting of the National Municipal League will be held in Cambridge. There will be two sessions, one in Pierce Hall at 10 o'clock in the morning, the other at 3 o'clock in the afternoon in Sanders Theatre. Between the sessions the delegates and their wives have been invited to take luncheon in the Faculty room of University Hall.
Mr. J. C. Carter '50, president of the National Municipal League and former president of the American Bar Association, will preside at the morning session, and the following men will speak: Dr. Albert Shaw, editor of the Review of Reviews, on "The New York Situation;" George W. Guthrie, on "The Pittsburg Victory;" Hon. E. A. Philbin, former district attorney of New York, on "A Non-Partisan Administration;" Professor J. H. Beale, of the Law School, on "Character Legislation in New England."
At the afternoon session in Sanders Theatre President Eliot will preside and brief addresses will be made by: C. J. Bonaparte '71, of New York; Mr. G. W. Guthrie, of Pittsburg; Dr. Albert Shaw, of New York; Professor A. B. Hart; H. E. Deming '71, of New York. Both sessions will be open to members of the University.
