The novice tournament held by the Fencers' Club in the Gymnasium last evening, was won by A. K. Miller '06, with H. W. Barnum 3L, second, and R. E. Daniels '05, third. The sixteen men who entered were divided into two squads for the preliminary round in which each man fenced with every other man in his squad. The three best men were selected from each of the preliminary divisions for the final round in which each man fought with each of the others. The following men acted as judges: F. W. Palfrey '98 of B. A. A., H. J. Elam 2L., H. W. Holmes '03, T. D. Roberts '03, H. Saint Gaudens '03, R. Merrill '06.
