Basketball Schedule Changed.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The game of the basketball team with the University of Syracuse has been cancelled and the date of the game with Cornell postponed from tomorrow to Friday. As a result the absence of the team from Cambridge has been shortened by one day and the date of leaving on the trip postponed from this evening to tomorrow evening. The change is made in order that there may be time to develop men to take the place of the regular players on the team who will be unable to leave the University on account of the examinations. This arrangement leaves but two games to be played on this trip, that with Cornell at Ithaca on January 23, and one with the Washington Continental A. A. at Schenectady, on January 24. J. W. Gilles 1L., captain of last year's team and head coach this year, who is also eligible to play this year, is practicing with the team and will probably play one of the forward positions in these two games.
