Germanic Museum Opens.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Germanic Museum in the Rogers Building at the junction of Cambridge street and Broadway will today be opened to the public for the first time, from 1 to 4.30 o'clock. In the future it will be open every Thursday at the same hours.

The opening of the Museum marks a new phase in the study of Germanic civilization in this country. As the purpose of the Museum is primarily educational no attempt has been made to secure originals, but copies of German architecture, sculpture and painting have been collected with a view of illustrating the different periods of Germanic culture.
