Students confined to their rooms by illness should send word to the Secretary's office of their department before 10 a. m. if possible. Later cases may be reported at 47 Brattle street. If no physician is already in attendance they will be visited as soon thereafter as possible. The nature of the illness and degree of urgency should be stated.
Students able to go out are expected to go to the Medical Visitor's Office, Thayer 21.
Consultation Hours.--8 to 9 a. m., daily except Sunday; 5 to 6 p. m., except Saturday and Sunday; Saturday 8 to 9 a. m. and 12 to 12.30 p. m.; Sunday and holidays 12 to 12.30 p. m. only.
Emergencies (at other hours than above), 47 Brattle street.
It should be remembered that chills, fever, abdominal and other pains require attention. Early examination may lead to the detection of contagious or other serious illness and permit favorable arrangements to be made as to nursing, meals, going home, etc. Any rash or eruption should be immediately reported.
