Wadsworth, 6-4, 6-3; R. Dresser defeated F. J. Sulloway, 6-0, 8-10, 6-2; H. V. Greenough defeated S. N. Hinckley, 6-5, 3-6, 6-1; H. H. Whitman defeated N. Paschall, 6-3, 6-1; H. F. Mason defeated S. W. Howland, 6-4, 6-3; F. Ingalls defeated W. W. Thayer, 6-3, 3-6, 6-5; F. A. Perine defeated E. Fischel, 6-1, 6-4; J. Morse defeated E. Taft; 6-3, 1-6, 6-1; S. L. Beals defeated H. S. Deming, 6-4, 6-5; G. A. Lyon, Jr., defeated T. L. Shaw, 6-1, 6-5; C. H. Collester defeated C. W. Blossom, 6-1, 6-0.
Fourth round--B. S. Prentice defeated W. M. Tilden, 6-1, 6-4.
