The Juniors defeated the Seniors in the first game of the interclass basketball series last night by a score of 37 to 0. The Juniors scored 21 of their points in the first half. Both teams played hard, but the excellent team work of the Juniors, and the entire lack of it on the part of the Seniors, resulted in the high score.
The summary: Goals--Snyder 9, Smith 5, Hall 2, Dapping. Goals from free tries-Snyder 3. Free tries missed--Snyder 2, Bennett 4, E. O. Hall. Fouls--Nottage 2, Henshaw, Hill, Swift 2, Dapping, R. O. Hall, Louis. Referee--J. W. Gilles 2L. Umpire--A. T. Snyder 3L. Timekeeper--E. L. Grant '06. Time--15-minute halves. The 1906 team is composed of almost the same men as last year but it has been greatly strengthened by developing a swift passing game. Lack of practice has handicapped the Freshmen team, which has, however, several experienced players. Following is the line-up:
