Outdoor practice of the University hockey team was held yesterday afternoon on Spy Pond. Only about twenty-five men reported owing to misunderstanding as to the place. After the preliminary practice in shooting and passing, two teams were formed and a practice game played. The following members of last year's University team who have returned were out: T. B. Souther '04, (captain), W. J. Clothier '04, P. Carr '04, E. Macleod '04, H. D. Kernan '05, and D. A. Newhall '06.

The following twenty-nine men have been retained and are to report for practice at 3 o'clock at a place to be announced at Leavitt & Peirce's: Tyer Sawyer, Tilden, Ivy, Carr, Vidand, Sard, Kent, Ward, Wilder, Wheeler, R. S. Townsend, Prentiss, Calloway, Magruder Wylie, Aertsen, Newhall, Kernan, Egan, Wagstaff, Macleod, Waite, Pruyn, Gunther, Foster, Clothier, Marshall, Souther. Practice will be held in the new rink as soon as it is ready.
