Williams Debate Trial Results.

At the preliminary trial held last night to select a team from the Sophomore class to debate with the sophomores of Williams College on May 2, the following six men were retained: W. H. Davis, I. I. Mattuck, W. O. Hubbard, J. F. Dore, Jr., M. M. Horblit, and J. Lebovich. The question for the trials is the one submitted by Williams for the debate, as follows: "Resolved, That the best interests of the United States demand the immediate absolute abolition of customs duties on raw materials and rough products of iron and steel, such as pig iron, bar iron, scrap iron, and steel ingots." In the final trial, to be held in Sever 11 on Friday, at 7.30 o'clock, a first and second team will be chosen. The six men retained last night have been divided into sides for the final trial as follows: affirmative--Davis, Mattuck, Hubbard; negative--Dore, Horblit, and Lebovich.
