Cricket Team Defeats Brockton.

The cricket team easily defeated Brockton at Brockton on Saturday by the score of 100 to 75. The University team had first innings and scored 100 points. Brockton then played to make a draw by delays, but was finally bowled out. The fielding of both teams was poor.

The University cricket team will play the fifth game of its schedule this afternoon with the Pawtucket cricket team at Pawtucket. In the first of the two games played with Pawtucket last year the University team was defeated by the score of 35 to 34, but won the second by the score of 107 to 47. Although Pawtucket has practically the same team as last year, the chances of a victory today seem in favor of the University team. The team will consist of the following men: Carter, W. N. Taylor, F. C. Taylor, Rothermel, Morgan, Tingley, D. Tyng, Trainer, Trout, Evans, Brock, Philips.
