The the between R. E. Daniels '05 and H. B. Hollins, Jr., '04 for eighth place in the qualifying round of the golf tournament for the University championship, was played off yesterday and was won by Hollins in 83.
The pairing for the preliminary round, which must be finished by tonight, is as follows: H. C. Egan '05 vs. H. B. Hollins, Jr., '04; W. E. Egan '05 vs. F. H. Ellis '06; P. D. Lamson '05 vs. M. McBurney '06; W. C. Chick '05 vs. W. R. Tuckerman '03.
