In the final round of the interscholastic tennis tournament on Jarvis Field yesterday, M. W. Niles of the Boston Latin. School defeated J. Macdonald of Browne and Nichols, 4-6, 7-5, 6-4, 2-6, 8-6. As a result of the match Browne and Nichols remains tied with Exeter for the championship shield, each school having were 7 points. The other five schools of the tournament rank as follows: Boston Latin 6, Newton High 4, Volkmann's 2, Chelsea High 1, Noble and Greenough's.
