Little Improvement in Basketball.

In yesterday's practice the University basketball team showed but little improvement over the work of the early part of the week. Although the team-work was somewhat faster and more accurate than on Tuesday, the fouls were altogether too frequent for this time of the year. The first team, however, showed considerable ability in covering its opponents on the second, and as a result kept possession of the ball during the greater part of the practice. Neither team was particularly accurate in shooting for baskets.

The line-up of the University team was as follows: Underwood and Grant, forwards: Randall, centre; Bigelow and Gring, guards.
