Results of Sophomore Election.

The following men were yesterday elected officers of the Sophomore class for the ensuing year: president, W. H. Keeling; vice-president, J. M. Morse; secretary-treasurer, D. G. Field.

The voting was fairly heavy, 448 votes being cast for president, 429 for vice-president, and 425 for secretary-treasurer. The number of votes cast for each man was as follows: president--W. H. Keeling, 239; J. D. White, 209; vice-president--J. M. Morse, 216; E. Farley, 123; R. L. Bacon, 90; secretary-treasurer--D. G. Field, 176; H. F. Evans, 158; E. R. Brumley, 91.

Keeling, the new president, prepared at the Sioux City High School, Sioux City, Iowa. He was a member of the Freshman Debating Club last year, and this year is president of the Sophomore Debating Club. He was a member of the University second football squad this fall.
