The squad of candidates for the University and class basketball teams now numbers about one hundred and twenty-five men, divided into the two main divisions of Upperclassmen and Freshmen, which meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; and Tuesdays and Thursdays, respectively. Thus far no attempt has been made to put the men into permanent squads, although this will be done next week. Class squads will then be formed and captains elected who will coach the candidates for the interclass games to be held the week previous to the Christmas recess. The exact dates for these games have not yet been decided.
Tonight will be the last opportunity for new men to join the squad.
