W. P. Blagden '04 won the national amateur squash championship at Tuxedo Park, New York, last Monday.
G. T. Sugden has been appointed manager of the Freshman baseball team and A. G. Kahn, assistant manager.
Mr. H. A. L. Sard '95, has been appointed the Harvard representative on the Advisory Committee of the Inter-University Lacrosse League.
The Freshman Debating Club has elected the following officers: president, E. J. David; vice-president, J. C. Prizer; secretary, E. W. Friend; treasurer, G. W. Bailey; camp captains, W. H. Keeling and E. R. Brumley; seventh member of the executive committee, J. Weare.
The Sophomore chess team will play the Freshmen today in the first match of the interclass series. The teams will be composed of the following men: Sophomores; Q. A. Brackett, captain, G. F. McClure, W. P. Gove, Freshmen: W. C. Cogswell, K. S. Johnson, C. G. Morse.
In former years it has been the custom to place in the College library a large three volume album containing the full-sized mounted photographs of every member of the Senior class. There will be somewhat of a change this year, and in place of three very briky volumes, one medium-sized book bound in full morocco, will contain the platinum prints, in reduced size, eight to a page, of every man in the class.
