Joseph Henry Converse, 2nd, '02 died suddenly Saturday morning at the Boston City Hospital of spinal meningitis.
Converse was born in Brookline in 1879 and entered College in 1898 from the English High School. In 1901 he entered the Medical School and would have completed his course there this June. While in College he was prominent as a hurdler on the track team for four years, and in the Medical School was a member of his class committee. He was taken ill Friday morning, having the previous day assisted at the City Hospital, where he had under his care several cases of meningitis.
