Olympic Games at Athens in April

The Olympic games will be held in Athens in April, 1906, and already many athletes from Europe as well as America have announced their intention of taking part. President Roosevelt has promised to do whatever he can to encourage the presence of American athletes.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, who is President of the Olympic Games Association, has expressed the wish that every effort should be made to bring the American universities to send representatives, and especially Harvard, as the Greeks recognize that University as the oldest and most important in the United States and thinks that, if she should take the lead, other universities would follow the example and send representatives to Athens.
