Dr. J. E. Sandys, fellow and lecture of St. John's College, and orator of the University of Cambridge, who is scheduled to give a course of six lectures "On the Study of Latin during the Revival of Learning in Italy," has been detained in Queenstown, as the steamer on which he sailed for this country was obliged to put back for repairs. This will necessitate the postponement of his first two lectures, "Petrarch and Boccaccio" and "The Age of Discoveries," from Monday, March 20 and Wednesday, March 22, respectively to Wednesday, March 22 and Friday, March 24.
