The work on Emerson Hall, the new building for the Department of Philosophy, has been progressing rapidly. The outer walls have been completed, and during the last month the roof has been put on. The scaffolding will be taken down within two weeks.
Work on the interior of the building is well under way. Skeleton floors and partitions have been built and the main stairway is at present being erected. The ceilings are being furred in preparation for the plastering which will be begun about the middle of April.
