Work and Plans of Track Squad

During the past two weeks the candidates for the track team have been confined to elementary work in order to give them endurance. The sprinters and hurdlers have been running short stretches, the weight throwers and jumpers have been doing light work, and the long distance men have been taking distance runs without sprinting at the finish. During the April recess the men who remain in Cambridge will do light work, but those who go away will be expected to keep in good condition. After Monday, April 24, the finishing work of the season will commence.

The following men will report at the training table in the Union at 1 o'clock on Monday, April 24: W. A. Schick '05, E. J. Dives '06, D. Grant 4M., A. King 2L., J. F. Doyle '07, F. J. Ford 2L., R. E. Crane '05, E. L. Young '06, D. R. Ayres '05, assistant manager W. G. Graves '06 and coach J. H. Lathrop. Additional men will probably be taken to the table on Wednesday, April 26.

A blue book has been placed in the Locker Building for entries in the handicap games which will be held on Monday, May 1. All candidates for the team are expected to enter and should do so before Wednesday, April 26. Men who have not yet taken strength tests must do so today, and those who took them last fall or last winter must obtain cards from Dr. Sargent.
