Athletic Committee Meeting

At a meeting of the Athletic Committee last night, the following appointments were approved: T. T. Whitney, Jr., Manager, and L. Delano, assistant manager, of the Freshman baseball team; F. W. Emerson, assistant manager of the Freshman crew. The swimming team was given permission to compete with Yale, with the reservation that this does not imply a return contest next year. The fencing team was allowed to fence with Yale on March 5. A grant of $400 was made to the lacrosse team. Permission was given to members of the track team of compete individually, and not as representatives of the University, in the Columbia Indoor Track Games to he held at the armory of the twenty-second regiment, New York, tomorrow night.
