The first dual concert ever given by the University and the Cornell Musical Clubs will be held in Sanders Theatre on Friday evening May 26. The program will be on the same general plan as that of the dual concert with Yale last November. After the concert the University Musical Clubs will give a supper in the Union for all those taking part.
On Monday, may 15, tickets at $1 for the main floor and first balcony, and at 75 cents for the second balcony, will be put on sale at Herrick's and Thurston's.
Cornell's two clubs, the Glee Club and the Banjo and Mandolin Club, are among the best in the country, and take long trips every year. This year during the Christmas recess they took a southern trip of over 3000 miles. The concert on May 26, however, will be the first time that the Cornell clubs have performed in this vicinity. They will send 50 men, who will arrive here on Friday morning and stay for the boat race between the University and Cornell first crews on Saturday. May 27.
With the exception of yard concerts, the concert at Andover tomorrow evening and that at the Cambridge Latin School on Friday evening will be the only ones given by the University Musical clubs before the Cornell concert.
