MR. L. D. BRANDEIS ON LAW

Ethical Society Lecture in Peabody Hall, Phillips Brooks House, at 7.30.

Mr. L. D. Brandeis L.'77 will deliver the second in the series of lectures on "The Ethics of the Professions" this evening at 7.30 o'clock in Peabody Hall, Phillips Brooks House, under the auspices of the Ethical Society. His subject will be "The Legal Profession."

Mr. Brandeis has been prominent in Boston for a number of years as a sponsor of the popular cause against such monopolies as the gas trust. He was admitted to the bar in 1878 and the following year became a member of the law firm of Warren & Brandeis. Since 1897 he has been senior partner of Brandeis, Dunbar & Nutter. On Commencement Day, 1891, Mr. Brandeis received an honorary degree of A.M. He is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, and has contributed a large number of articles to legal reviews.

The lecture will be open to the public.
