Many of the 16 dormitory crews which were organized last Monday have been rowing during the last two days, under the direction of Coaches Vall and Stephenson. As yet it is too early to make any forecast or criticism of the crews. Among the best are those of Randolph, Westmorly, Claverly and Stoughton-Hollis-Holworthy, all of which are largely made up of old oarsmen.
As many of the crews did not report in full it was impossible to restrict several of the eights to men of the same dormitory. During the next few days it will probably be found necessary to join some of the eights in order to obtain a complete boat.
The organization of the crews will be greatly facilitated if men report promptly at their respective boat-clubs, according to the lists printed in last Tuesday's CRIMSON.
