The one hundredth anniversary of the birth of H. W. Longfellow h.'59 will be celebrated in Cambridge on February 27, under the auspices of the Cambridge Historical Society and a committee of citizens and members of the University. Among the principal speakers at the public exercises, which will be held in Sanders Theatre, are: President Eliot, Professor C. E. Norton '46, Colonel T. W. Higginson '41, and Mr. W. D. Howells h.'67.
