The Freshman fencing team was defeated by the St. James second team of Roxbury in the Gymnasium last night by a score of 5 bouts to 4. G. L. Cutting did the best work for the Freshmen, winning two of his three bouts. The Freshmen have held three meets with St. James this season and have lost two and won one. W. MacLeod 2L., M. B. Palmer '06, H. Fleming, St. James, H. E. Porter '09 and S. F. Seabohm, St. James, acted as officials.

The Freshmen will hold their next meet on Saturday night in the Gymnasium with the Columbia freshmen.
